I agree, the tone is nice. What makes it a great shot is the second girl in the background (with just right amount of softness), looking on. She supports the main subject perfectly by bringing our attention back to the girl in focus.

Really is a great pic.

Thanks for the compliments everyone. The bonus is that the girl in the background is her sister. I'm anxious to see what their mom thinks. She doesn't know I shot these.

Mom is going to be delighted, this is a perfect portrait in every way, absolutely love the way you have worked this image, if they were my daughters I would be ordering a huge poster print for the front room wall, pride of place.
