Canon 5Ds vs Nikon D810

I'm currently a 5D II owner and thinking about picking up a new camera.  Wondering if there are some opinions of which is a better camera for portraits: canon 5ds vs nikon d810?

For all I've seen so far the differences are minimal.
My opinion: You're used to Canon, stick with Canon (also saves you changing all your lenses.....)

D810 hands down for me because I'm already invested in Nikon. Stay with your Canon gear, these makers leap-frog in technology constantly.

Why so serious?

What are looking for in a camera?  We all have different needs.  So while the D810 from a personal needs standpoint, fits what I'm looking for.  The Canon very well may be the best fit for you.

Nikon Z6 | Nikon FM10 | Nikon D80 | Nikon 50mm f/1.8D | Nikon 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6 AF-S VR | 35-105mm f/3.5 Macro | 80-200mm f/4.5 | SB600 | Pocket Wizard II

The OP is already invested in Canon, unless he's very wealthy he should stick with Canon. Both systems are great, again its the user that makes the difference....

:agree: Totally!
In the end it's not just the camera body but everything that goes with it, most of all the glasses.......

Nikon has the better DR and high ISO/noise ratio.  Canon has more resolution.  Pick and choose.
