Thinking in the best Lens for product photography!

7 years 5 months ago #502788 by salmaazoulay
What lens can suit me well?

I'm about to make a photo shoot for my stylist business.

What lens do you recommend me for product photography? I'm shooting some portraits and panoramics from my studio.

I'm looking for versatility.

Any ideas?

I'd opt for a zoom lens for sheer convienience. Say 24-70mm or thereabouts for a full frame camera. It would help if we knew what camera you have....

A zoom lens is certainly an excellent choice for versatility

Sorry, but my old brain is having a hard time comprehending the need for a "panorama" for "product photography".

Yeah.  The last time I took a panorama (years ago) was standing on the shore of a big lake.  So wadda I know?

24-70mm is a very good universal lens.  I use this focal length most of the time myself.

Sorry, but my old brain is having a hard time comprehending the need for a "panorama" for " best product photography ".

I'm also confused that which lens for product photography should be used for best results. And also do I need different lenses for wildlife photography then product photography.
