I'm on the fence here and really good use your help.  If you had to pick one of these 2 lenses, which would you go with?

Myself, it would be the 16-35 f/2.8....really a nice, versatile lens....Go to Amazon or B&H and read the reviews!

The zoom would offer a little more flexibility but the prime would be better in low light. What are your priorities ?

For my side canon  16-35MM, 2.8 III is better. It instant manual- focuses override, large diameter glass molded, air Sphere coatings. It is best for use. The main thing is that it's smaller, lighter. And I just love it!

Hey everyone.  You know, I ended up ordering the 16-35mm last Thursday.  Matter of fact it's supposed to be here tomorrow.  Just in time, because we head off on Wednesday.

You all are such a big help.  Thank you so much for all your help.  It was greatly appreciated.

BTW sorry for the late reply.  Been so busy this month!!

I think you should go for 16-35MM 2.8 III, because it is more sharper than the 1.4 and it is more wide angled than 2.8
