Users of Canon 6D Mark II

If there are any Forum readers that actually use the 6D Mark II, have you found any merit to the reviews that say the camera is disappointing in its DR with low ISO usage?  The reason I ask is that I generally shoot landscape using ISO 200-400 unless shade or subject background conditions warrant a boost.

Also, the lens that I mostly use on my 70D is the EF-S 18-135 f/3.5-5.6 IS STM..  The closest Canon FF lens I see for the 6DMII seems to be the 24-105 f/4L IS II USM or the 24-105 f/3.5-5.6 IS STM.  In view of the focal length reach I'm used to, will I be disappointed in the reach of either of the the 24-105 lenses?

The ability of a sensor to handle a wider dynamic range, and perform better at higher ISO values, does minimally have something to do with how it performs at its native ISO point. But if you're shooting at 200-400 (and the base ISO is likely 200) then who cares? As in, it doesn't impact you, and the camera does what you need, no?

What you miss here is that a full frame sensor is going to have fatter pixels, which helps overall. Newer technology is generally going to be an improvement. Just how it is.

As for lens choices, you'll find a FF will give you a wider field of view, and that will impact how you operate (a bit). If you require a comparable framing, you need something like a 24-200. Nikon makes an 18-200 for crop sensors, and an 18-300, but I'm unaware of a comparable Canon lens.

You'll probably need two lenses. Canon does make a 200mm f/2.8 prime that is modestly priced. That might suffice, along with the 24-105. I'd suggest the constant aperture, always.
