Keep gridlines on during video shoot on Canon EOS 200D ?

4 years 7 months ago #658032 by archz2
I have Canon EOS 200D camera. I know how to toggle the grid lines on the LCD screen for taking still photographs. However, for shooting videos, the grid lines only remain before I hit the record button. They disappear when the video is being recorded. Any way to keep the gridlines switched on during the video recording progress?

I am a beginner and the grid lines helps me a lot in order to check alignment and composition.

Set the camera to "Live View" (screen) shooting, hit Menu button, go to tab 5, second from bottom is "Grid display".

Hi. Sorry for replying late. Well, the same issue still, I get grid lines just before hitting the record button and after stopping the video recording. They disappear during video recording.

In menu 5, there is no grid option.

I get my grid options in menu 4 which were enable before I started this discussion thread.

No. I haven't tried. You're talking about forums or customer care? I haven't tried either. I live in India. Should I email them?
