Internal Focus Stacking in Canon pro bodies

Other cameras have this feature in them.  I would prefer not to have to use external items.  Any idea if we can expect Canon to add internal focus stacking in their cameras any time soon?

Can't comment on Canon, but the newly announced Nikon D6 does it.

G'day Chris

The Panny FZ-series have it built in too
On my FZ-2500 I have tried it several times - camera tripod mounted every time - and the results are not all that exciting ... image registration issues :(
