Canon M50 owners, how do you like the video from this camera?

My wife wants a camera, seeing that I'm already using a Canon I figured this would be a good camera.  She wants something for video and stills.  Our budget is $700 bucks, so this slides under that nicely.

Can you let me know on the video please.  Thanks.

It's a good camera, but not so good in low light situations.  So if you plan on using it in low light, I would go with the M6 Mark II or even the Sony a6400

I  bought a M50 last year, and it's OK of a camera.  The camera simply doesn't do well in low light video or stills.  I wouldn't say its bad, however it's not good.  Casual shooting with good light, it's a strong camera and good value at $599 with 15-45mm kit lens.

I spoke to the Canon Live Chat guys at imaging.chat because my other half wanted a good camera for youtube type videos, this is pretty much the best bet at that price bracket. The 4k capability is a bonus but she just used the Full HD - it's the focussing that's really good compared to a lot of competitors, really smooth as you move around in the frame. She was happy anyway!!!
