Movie Rec. Size in Canon EOS R??

I'm not even sure how to explain this.  However I'm looking at changing my frame rate for shooting video in my EOS R and there are so many abbreviations in here.

Example:

FHD (full HD?)
ALL-I
IPB

What do these mean?  My manual was zero help.  Actually Canon needs to do something about their manuals, very unfriendly.

Thank you!

Page 195 of the Advanced User's Guide seemed clear to me: Those specify the compression level: some, per frame (ALL-I); or more, across multiple frames (IPB), or lightly (IPB-I).

FHD is about the lens you're using (EF only). The image area on the sensor depends upon the type of lens.

ALL-I is probably preferable to MP4 (MP4 encoding sucks, IMO) if you're going to be editing.

I would be using FHD (Full HD) All-I at 120/60/30 fps myself, as I would likely be taking the video into an editor. If you're only going to capture home movies, IPB is likely fine.

Welcome to the world of video and learning lots of new stuff.
