PC Alternative to the iMac display?

11 months 3 weeks ago #632756 by Farestad
I feel there is such a large gap in color between my monitor and my printer.  I've had other problems with this display as well, so going to start processing more on my PC for now.  I know so many swear by their iMac display, I believe I just got a lemon.  So, looking at other options, something that I can easily calibrate and get colors synced up.

Thanks in advance guys.

In addition to a decent monitor, you must and use a colorimeter. That's the only way you'll get correct, consistent colors and tones. So I'd suggest acquiring a ColorMunki or Spyder first, and seeing where that takes you.

I use inexpensive displays and a ColorMunki, and my prints look just like the display. And lab prints always come out correct, too. Just sayin'.
