What's considered the best tablet on market?

AND used by photographers?  Is the iPad still a good choice?  I have the original.  I want something I can edit photos on, and get a more portable portfolio to share.

Many of my students have bought cheaper tablets
but all aim at the iPad quality in the nearest future.

I have the Air 2 for presentation purposes, that is a
very good tool and the screen is great.

The Pro? Nah… too big for me — the pictures should
impress not the tool.

Affinity Photo has a version that works great on the
iPad Pro.

Light is free… capturing it is not!

You probably want an iPad Pro or a Surface, with a stylus.

Got me, but my iPad Pro is doing the job for me.  I'm not a professional like many of you, but for my workflow it's handy.  I had the first iPad and second one.  The new one is super fast.
