16" Apple MacBook Pro good for photographers

Will this computer fit in 15" slots in our existing bags?

Also, the big question here is from a performance standpoint, are you convinced enough to purchase one of these?

My 2015 MacBook is on it's last leg and I need to get a new machine.

My old 17" MacBook Pro is still kicking and I would like
to replace it with another of the same size as I appre-
ciate the screen real state!

ADDENDUM

I never use a laptop for PP but for presentations and
— mainly — for tethered shooting in studio or location.

Generally, they're not 15" slots, they're space designed to hold a 15" laptop.

The 16" MB Pro specs state: Size: 14.1 x 9.7 x 0.64 inches

You be the judge.

$3800 for a well equipped machine, that an investment!
