hello.2 issues.1 testing a second-hand-bought G9 for the first time, bought with only 1500 shuttercount, 900 powercountwhat caused it: night, outdoor, setting high iso, trying to record video, pressing button to record.what happens: display error on lcd and viewfinder - fast colour flashs all over the picture, record doesnt stop, cam reacts to nothing.reaction: take out battery.then: every record was lost.then: reset cam, at the moment its okwhat is that ? a defect ?2 testing a second-hand-bought lense 100-400 leicashooting with gh5s.problem: check the pictures with the hand and the body. like doubling.what is that ? a defect ? i thought maybe its related to shutter speed, but this looks not good. Thanks for your help

You bought damaged equipment. Whether it's the body and lens, or just the body, the seller misrepresented the condition (or it got damaged in transit... you don't say how you acquired it).

hello, and thank you for responding.  Both, body and lense, are still under warranty.  I resetted the body - the monitor error didnt happen again.    The lense - I made several 2-3 film and foto shootings each time around 10-30 shots, just once some (about 5 pictures) came out like this. I went on trying and it didnt happen again.

Do you think these are for shure damages on the products ? is warranty requestable ?

Thanks

You should contact Panasonic to discuss the problem. It might be a firmware issue; hard to say.

I based my thoughts on the information provided. It would not hurt to contact their technical support team. And warranties usually cover the original purchaser. If it hasn't been registered under another name, you're probably okay.
