When it's after hours, and no one is around.  Are you allowed to fly a drone over a commercial construction site?

EF 100mm f/2
EF 70-200mm f/4
EF 18-55mm

You need to find out the local ordinances where you are, in addition to federal guidelines (and getting your license, of course).

If you're going to be a UAV pilot, you might want to get used to doing this work. I don't think relying on input from others is really in your best interest.

But what do I know?

I wouldn't.  What if you need to land?  Then your drone is stuck in construction site.

All commercial drones are required to be registered and marked. Moreover, drones cannot engage in nighttime construction activities, and operators must know whether the site is located near to restricted airspaces, such as airports, etc.

First, is this a hobby flight? drone under the weight limit of 245 grams? you would also be better off asking for permission from the site foreman. get your Part 107 if you think of making money off the film.
check city, county ordinance.
if it is being done as a Hobby and you don`t hover you can fly over it, will this be at night? make sure you have a beacon as required to fly at night.

Oh, you think camera drone or FPV?

So after so many years of doing this or that and life itself getting in my way, I am now at the point where just slowing down and doing things I have put off I have concluded that its time to become creative and do what I want.
Thanks for giving me a place to get started. :-)
