Do most pro photographers use Photoshop?

Odd ball question, but just wondering if most professional photographers are using Photoshop for their post processing needs, or is there another program like Gimp that is used?

Most full time pros use photoshop. Gimp has an extremely small portion of the market. I would even go as far as saying more pros use Lightroom than Gimp.

I use Corel Photo X4. HAve the Color Efex Pro 3 and Fractalius plug-ins.

Shoot, learn and share. It will make you a better photographer.

Photoshop has been and is the industry leader, but plenty of people are using other programs too.

I used to buy a version of Photoshop every three or four years. It's never seemed worth it to me to upgrade every version (I'm still on CS4). As I understand it Adobe is going to change their upgrade policies and introduce new subscription pricing to force people to buy their product more often. I am currently investigating other processing software options. I'll probably go to Lightroom (as long as they keep it cheap), but I do want to check out GIMP. I'd rather spend that extra $1000 a year on bodies and lenses. Processing is important to me, but I only need the fundamental tools. I can get by without the automation and fancy stuff. Content Aware Fill sounds neat, but I don't think I'd ever need it.
