Are you exporting your post processed photos in multiple optimized resolutions?

I just finished post processing some photos from this past weekend and realizing something. I always export the image at it's original size. I think I recall reading an article that spoke about exporting post processed work in multiple resolutions to optimize how the image looks on different devices such as desktop computer vs tablet vs Macbook that is running retina technology. Seems like a mundane process of making these multiple copies, not to mention all the extra storage space and file names?

I primarily use 2 sizes:

Small for FB / proofs - around 720 to 900 pixels on the long edge

Full size

That covers almost all of my needs. The small ones work for Facebook as well as casual viewing on a phone or tablet. If you want to really show off an image on a tablet / iPad, you'll want to export the images at the device dimensions. This keeps the device from munging the image (which they never really do very well).

Depends on what I'm doing with the photos. For the most part, I export at 1200pixel longest edge and that is for uploads to Facebook. Other than than, I just save in full size.

Depends on where the photos are going, for the most part, images are exported in full size. When I post them on my Facebook page I will scale them down to 1000 pixels on the longest edge
