Would the help speeding up your editing?

This link was sent to me over the weekend, claiming it would speed up editing.  My jury is out to lunch.

Can I get your thoughts?   palettegear.com/index

With an online only business or start up I usually look to see who owns/runs the site, where it's located, etc. If it's not that apparent who's doing the site I usually wonder; I don't feel like I should have to hunt to find out.

Then there are Terms for making a purchase...?? Just skimming thru I found #3.4, which wasn't clear to me regarding interest and charges for credit card payments if rejected, etc. So I didn't look any further.

Call me old fashioned, I'd rather just rely on my own skills...I don't think that any fancy bells or whistles will makes a significant difference in my editing time.

I disagree, anything to speed up the process.  I'm going to have some interest.

Most sites don't have contact information as they may be small organizations who don't have the bandwidth for phone support.  Doesn't mean they don't care, just simple 'matter of timing' thing.

I'd have to play around with it first to see how it feels.  Looks like this would speed things up for those that do a lot of post processing.

I actually have a friend who swears by this thing. I'm considering getting one myself.

If a website that's an online only business in this day and age doesn't make it 'transparent' who they are and where they're located I have to wonder why not. Why don't they want to be found?? Not that hard to provide the info. even if it's a small business.

I would not use a site with the terms I read on this website regarding credit card purchases. Would not give them my credit card info.

I'm conflicted on the legitimacy of the Palette.
Icepics makes a good point about how suspicious it is that information on their business is hard to find (especially in this day and age).
However, I was able to find reviews of the product on a few trusted photography websites.
Here's one from Pop Photo:

Potential sketchiness regarding the terms aside, it seems neat like a really neat little device.
