Hard to say, can't really see any information or examples from the link you've provided.

There is a submenu up top that one can see examples of the actions if you click on it.. That said, I think the name of the action pack is a bit pretentious.

I would say so. What supposed 'acclaimed New York photographers' according to the website use this? who knows.

Something like this isn't necessarily going to get closer to what pros may use or do. Pro photographers (should) know what techniques to use and when to use them and how to do so effectively. It takes time and learning to get to that point.

Now this got me looking at the site... what/where exactly is this company?? No address/phone/contact info. Since 'color' is spelled 'colour' I'd guess whoever is selling this is probably in the UK.

The FB page just started in Jan. and this seems to be the only thing being sold. Would you trust sending a stranger in some unknown place your 40 bucks? or your credit card number?

Personally I have a hard time justifying purchasing presets for anything over a few dollars since there's so much out there available for free.

Ah, thank you, now I see what you're talking about. While these look like some attractive presets, I agree that the site as a whole seems a bit sketchy and I wouldn't be quick to give them my money.

I wouldn't go for this. Personally, it doesn't seem like anything that you couldn't learn in a quick Youtube tutorial. I prefer to have precise control over my photos, though, so maybe it's just me.

I'm not a big preset user, so I'm in the camp that there's nothing that you can buy on this front that's going to get you closer to the pros...it's a matter of time, practice, and devotion. None of this seems extraordinary or revolutionary

I bought it on creativemarket a few months back if you don't like using the site.

There were a couple of presets that were getting a lot of attention on Model Mayhem, so I caved. If you like the Annie Leibovitz style, they're a no-brainer. There are two presets I use on everything, Norman something and Tonal Balance.
