Watched this earlier today. I use dehaze quite a bit but never in the amounts he uses in the video. Maybe Matt was just going over the top to prove a point, but I rarely ever go over about 10 to 12 on Dehaze.

There is rarely a photo that cannot benefit from some judicious application of dehaze.

I'll use Dehaze, but typically won't go over 30 in Dehaze slider. I always feel it starts to look 'pushed'.

Same here, generally 15-30 dehaze setting, depending on the photo.

About the same for me, not much more than 20 Dehaze in Lightroom

I have not experienced any miracles with de-haze. When I do apply it I keep it very light, 10 to 20.

I recently started using Dehaze and find I adjust this first in my workflow.  That and white balance.

Dehaze is like HDR in the sense that it's easy to abuse and over do.  Moderation is key here.  Under 30 myself for Dehaze.

Dehaze is a wonderful tool.  Use it all the time.  Great for adding drama.

Dehaze is great, but if used over 35 IMO, looks just fake can ruin a photo.

Dehaze — like a few more sliders in all three mentioned softwares — are
not existent in the software I use.

All these sliders, IMO, are like cooking helpers (read flavour cubes or else)
that won't teach one to cook but to get away with apparently easy solutions.

They have the same value than presets in my book.

Light is free… capturing it is not!

I like "easy". A lot. So I use presets a fair amount and the dehaze once in a while. I am very surprised that so many use dehaze for every image.

When you push dehaze much over 25, you can really start to see bad effects taking place in your shots.  Dehaze is really something that looks best when used sparingly.
