i recently took some photos at a party that took place in a low light venue and the photos turned out redish due to the color of the stone wall, any ideas on how to fix them, through photoshop or Lightroom ?

The redness isn't from the walls. It comes from the light temperature. Study up on "white balance" and how to set it for the type of lighting you are shooting. If you shoot in RAW you can adjust in post. If you shoot jpg, learn to set the proper white balance in camera.

Since you have LR, you have an eyedropper for the WB tool. And you have a (sort of) white tablecloth in the image. Increase your overall exposure, then sample the tablecloth to get some sort of idea as to what the color should look like, and work from there.

You may have to play with both temp and tint to arrive at something acceptable; strong color casts can be challenging to mitigate.
