Question about Sports Schedule Posters

4 years 7 months ago #658867 by jmcmanis
We have a basketball team that wants us to create a poster with the photo at the top and schedule on the bottom.  They want several hundred printed.  What is the best lab to use for this?  Our sports lab doesn't have anything that isn't photo paper or the large vinyl banners as options.  Thanks so much.

What's a "sports lab"?

Any print shop will have a selection of papers, as well as experience in work like that so will make suggestions. Look for local print shops.

We have an InstyPrints here, and they do a fine job at a very reasonable rate.

I think too it might be better to find a local printer. They'll have to create the calendar which is obviously different than printing only photos.

Make sure you contract and license usage for one season, one print run (of the number they want). If they want more copies, or to do this again next season using the same photo, you'll need to extend usage. More likely if they do this again they'd want a different photo than this year's so you may need a new contract next season.
