Fixing blood shot eyes with Photoshop?

How are you fixing blood shot eyes with Photoshop?  And can this be done to batch fix same person in 27 photos at once?

I have a client who I photographed last week and their eyes are all bloodshot and they want them fixed.  Not something I have experience with.  Thanks for the help.

One approach would be to use a Hue/Saturation layer, mask the sclera, and de-saturate the red and adjust the lightness to try to make it unnoticeable.

No, it can't be batch-processes.

You might see about using an inexpensive retoucher to do this for you. One hopes they are paying you for significant editing of this type.

Thank you, that sounds like it could work well.  I'm typing this out my cell phone, and not at my computer.  Will try this later today.  BTW I quoted them 30 minutes for each photo.  Would you have done the same?

Thanks again!

To do only that work? It would probably take me 10 minutes each, start to finish, based on my workflow. You'll find that it gets easier the more practice you have.
