Photo Works vs Photoshop?

On another board I belong to, this Photo Works company was spamming themselves, with an article on Shutterfly or Shutterbug, It was deleted before I read it.

Curious have any of you tried this software, is it comparable to Photoshop?

It appears to rely upon automatic operations, more akin to On1. A Photoshop clone it does not appear to be. If you are looking for something in that vein, consider Affinity (which has a free trial).

Looks hardly like any sort of a Photoshop.  Not to me at least.

Hi Gary, do you use Affinity?  Heard about that from a friend a few weeks ago, would like to see what you think of it.

I am a (long time) Lightroom/Photoshop user,. but one day hope to find the bandwidth to evaluate it and others in detail.

I mentioned it because of function and price point.
