How to get the Copyright symbol in PC?

Good morning.  How do I get the 'Copyright' symbol?  I'm using the letter "C" right now and it doesn't look as nice.

Thank you

Jon

The answer depends upon which operating system you're using.

If you're using windows, then you should become familiar with the accessory "charmap". Type Windows+R to run a command, enter "charmap" and press enter.

This tool will show you all of the characters in the selected typeface. Using Arial as a typical typeface, you'll see the circle-c in the first 200 characters. Either select, copy, and paste the character, or hold down the alt key while (on the numeric keypad if you have one) typing 0169. The leading zero is required.

I have, over time memorized a number of these characters, and having a full keyboard is a requirement for me, for this and other purposes.

For Windows OS- Hold the ALT button and type 0169 - ©

For Mac - To type the copyright symbol simply hold down the option key and press the ‘g’ key. Option-g will type the copyright symbol in any program. ©

This works in Mail, Pages, Microsoft Word, Keynote, etc.
