How to backup only 4 and 5 star images from Lightroom to Dropbox?

I have nearly 20,000 images on this computer and don't car to backup all of them.  However 4 and 5 star ranked images yes.  So if I wanted to backup only 4 and 5 star images from Lightroom to Dropbox, how could this be done?

You need to use a collection. The default LR installation includes a collection set that has a "Five Star Images" collection within it. I think it's even automatic in collecting images.

If you right-click on that collection, there's an option to save the collection as a catalog (which is that you really want to do?)  Write the files out to a new directory, then copy that directory to the server.

If you only want the files, you'll also want to write metadata out. Create the catalog, then open that, go to Library grid mode, select all (control-A), then write data (control-S). Then back up the files form the catalog folder.

I'm in my car right now, but when I get back to my computer I will look into what you suggested, thank you.

Was this an example?  Or will they have a '4' star option as well?

Again, thank you.

Yes, an example of a smart collection. You should be able to edit it, or derive another from it.
