I'm not sure, but I think one of the overhead cams didn't have a companion audio as I normally have. My normal set up in studio is a Rode NGT4 on a boom, recording audio separately into a Zoom H5. There have been a couple times when I have forgotten to hit record.
On the subject of lavalier mics, I do have one. Rode Wireless Go, which I use often when outdoors. Love it.
