How do I do this?

Hi there!

Does anybody know how to make a collage of photos like I did in this photo many years ago. I simply cannot remember what software I used! Thank you.

Any layout publisher or pixel editor will achieve that montage, any.

Thanks for the reply but I'm still non the wiser! Treat me as a complete and utter amateur when it comes to photo editing (because I am! lol) Thanks again.

Affinity Photo is a pixel editor And Affinity publisher
is a layout publisher… I use them both successfully.

If you are on Mac, Pages could handle that too.

Thanks again. Yeah I'm using Windows and I notice that software costs nearly £50...is there any free software that will do the same job?

Do a web search for "free photo collage windows" and you'll find many options.

Thanks for the reply but I did start off with doing exactly that but every single collage maker software didn't give the same result as in my example. They all had hard borders, (which is something I can do already). I want one that blends them all in (like in my example). This is why I ended up on this forum, to ask some experts...

To have them melt into one another, apply a frame of
a chosen width with a given transparency… corners
may be rounded too.

Thanks again for the reply but like I said previously I'm a total newbie and don't know how to apply the effects you mentioned...the picture example I shared was done in a few minutes by software I used many many years ago (about 10) and I'm looking for either the same software or another that will do a similar job for me. Thank you.
