As the title asks, are there any Adobe RAW alternatives that are worth looking at?  Please share.

Thank you!

P
Adobe raw is owned by Adobe so there is no alternative To ADOBE raw. But

Every manufactures of cameras have a raw converter that works with their camera. Nikon has Nikon Capture NX-D RAW Processing Software
Canon has Digital Photo Professional 4
Same for other manufactures. Usually the software comes free with the camera. Nikon use to charge you for an upgrade to more features but the raw converter was free (I don't know what they do now)
There are 3rd party raw converters.

Then there are raw converters built into photo editors
Affinity Photo
On1 Photo Raw
Capture One
DXO Photolab
Raw Power
and on an on
There are also raw converter/editors in mobile devices
Easy Raw Converter
Raw2dng
PhotoRaw
Photo and Image converter
There are too many to list.

Affinity is my pixel editor of choice. It was extended to
a RAW converter BUT it can work on only one RAW file
at the time
— that feature was meant for pre-press work.

At this point, and for the last 12 years, I found only one
converter that could stand to my standards in terms of
quality, colours, speed, flexibility, functionality but it is
not a pixel editor… Capture One, just the best converter
in my book.

Light is free… capturing it is not!
