Thinking of switching to Photoshop...

Thinking of switching to Photoshop because I just discovered focus stacking. I was watching videos on landscape photography on Youtube and one chap explained focus stacking (I had no idea what this was) and how everything is cobbled together in Photoshop. My current editor (Photodirector) doesn't have this function and I think it might be very handy. Anyone else use this? Is it as good as he made out in the video? Just want to gather some first hand accounts before I make the purchase.

TIA.

It works fine if your computer has enough horsepower to handle it. There are other photo stacking softwares out there. Check with astro fanatics. They use stacking a lot.

Cheers I'll check it out. Got plenty of computing power though...
