I'm realizing I need to come up with better system for organizing and simply managing my clients photos.  May I ask how are you accomplishing this?

I think it will depend of they type of work and the amount of customers.

I do not keep my images in a photo app after processing. All my images are exported to folders in my PHOTO folder. If it is weddings, I rename the images to eg. JohnMaryGrahams - 1.jpg and in a John Mary Grahams folder. RAW and processed.

If Companies, I will file under the company's name and then in folders of date taken.
Then I rename all to eg. KFC_04_05-2023 - 1.jpg
That way I can do a quick search too.

I have portable hard drives with dates on them, and each client cataloged on paper on which drive they are in.  Then as a back up, everyone is backed up on the cloud.

Yeah same here, hard drives locally and cloud storage as well.  It can be time consuming updating, but it's redundant.
