Photoshop Tip: Black and White conversion from HDR - Photoshop Tutorial

9 years 8 months ago #56550 by PhotographyTalk
Excellent video from "leica-boss.com"This photo tutorial takes you step-by-step through a black and white conversion made from an HDR image. Starting with a flat, low-contrast photo with a high dynamic range gives you more flexibility in how you present your black and white conversion.

In this Photoshop tutorial they use the calculations tool, dodge and burn, edge burning, and other local contrast techniques to create a nice, dramatic effect.

Enjoy!
