Wrong subject for me, I don't think I have ever deleted a photo! Does that make us photo pack rats?

I actually started this thread as I just read a spine chilling post on FB from a chap who has been a photog for many years and had his house burgled. They took EVERYTHING. The equipment was replaceable (he had top of the range Canon Gear) but they took every HDD he had - gut wrenching.
I keep thinking - if there was a fire, what would I loose? The answer is A LOT! Scary, time to buck up the ideas...

Already been throught that. A fire destroyed most of my negatives and slides in storage 5 years ago. 15 years of work.
