C41 Developing Issue
I recently developed multiple rolls of 35mm film and noticed there was some artifact from what looks like the perforated edges of the film. I used Cinestill C41 chemistry to develop the rolls in the Paterson 3-Reel Tank. I had the chemicals in a circulating waterbath set to 40 degrees Celsius. Does anyone have an idea what happened here and how to prevent it in the future? Thanks!

You didn't say if it was on every shot, or just this one. If it is on every shot, then misthreading the spool is not the problem, because you would never be able to feed the complete roll on the spool.
