I took my camera, son and dog to the off leash park in our town, shot some pics of pups and got a couple really cute ones.
Feel free to comment, I dont mind critiques, I have a lot to learn.

You did a really good job. Nice composition and good lighting. The only thing I would add is, with your dog, if you moved a little bit, you could have gotten the other eye in the shot. Having two eyes is better then one (unless it's a profile shot, like the photo with your son).

Also in case you didn't know, when shooting animals, get down on their level to photograph them. Never stand and take their picture (unless you are going for a certain kind of effect).

:agree: with Crystal, especially on the second point. Do it enough and it will become second nature to you.

I hate to tell you all that I was down on my knees for that bulldog shot LOL, unfortunately I'm tall and the dog is not LMAO :rofl:
I just had surgery so was not able to get any lower but I'll suit up in a poopy proof doggy suit next time so I can Lay down on my tummy hehehhehe :woohoo: :rofl: :rofl:
