Living the dream

Some high ISO fun at work last night. Just finished up a Calvin Cline commercial at the Universal backlot. "Living the dream" is a common saying of people like myself that work in the movie industry. it was really dark and I shot at ISO 6400 which demanded editing. The editing kind of fit in with the saying, like a dreamscape. Like a mix between a painting and a photo.

I like this. I appreciate the symmetry, the tough lighting conditions, the crisp/sharpness of the doors. Well done.

There are photographs everywhere. It is the call of photographers to see and capture those images.

Thanks Gary. It was all just for fun really. I didnt expect anything good to come out of it. I was just killing some time, and yeah like you said the lighing conditions was horrible, but I did like how "dreamy" the pic came out after heavy editing.

Very pleasing cinematic approach… almost film-noir! :)

Light is free… capturing it is not!

Yes, film-noir ... I was thinking a white unicorn strutting down that street would be nice ... but a Batmobile would be better.

hahaha. Trust me, a unicorn, or the batmobile wouldnt be strange at all witnessing at the studios. It happens all the time. I have so many options to shoot VERY cool stuff but I'm bound by confidentiality agreements up the wazoo and would be fired very quickly. Innocent photos like this is no issues.

You got it, Gary… very good idea!
I was stuck on the old imagery of crime scenes.
