Nice monochromatic effect here. What is the story behind this shot?

This is part of a visitor center/museum king of thing in Marietta, Georgia. It is adjacent to the Root House and I think it serves as a ticket office for the Root House museum. I don't know if the cabin is completely new construction or was moved to this location and reconstructed. I only get out and about very early while there are few people around and I keep a good distance away so I haven't been inside to learn the details.
Details of museum.
The William Root House Museum and Garden is one of the oldest surviving houses in Marietta. The museum features a glimpse of life for a typical middle class Georgia family in 1850. Built in 1845 by early settlers Hannah and William Root, the Root House is one of just a few buildings that survived Sherman’s Atlanta Campaign.
