Only thing though, the repulsive , mundane brickwork background keeps drawing my eyes away from the Ibby . Reckon you could have hung a less distracting background , like e.g., a dark-coloured curtain , in front of the wall , or found a more drab wall .

posing the smooth, glossy instrument but the light should be say… mo-
stage like, theatrical.

Been looking into whenever I get time. Still not quite sure how to apply it though. I'm thinking I need a specific kind of light but I can't figure out what that is. FWIW I do have two lights but they are better for general all round lighting, not highlighting the subject. Is it just a case of a smaller light with a focus lighting area?
