i took these photos over the weekend at a local beach by me what do you think?? i wanted to capture the sun setting and reflecting off the water

The first is my favorite. Were you using some sort of cross hair/ star burst filter. One thing I do want to add it that while the image is wonderful the shape of the sun makes it look photo shopped or over edited. IMHO but as I said I do like the image you did a very good job on it. :judge:

i only used a uv filter and just cropped the photo a little other than that i didnt do any other photoshop but thank you i definitly see what your saying about the sun

How strange I was convinced that you had to have done something to crate that effect. Now just try and do it again it will never happen, isn't that the way it goes? Maybe one of the gurus can explain it.

I like the 1st one best, the use of flare is becoming popular in a lot of areas in photography, there are things you can do to prevent it but in this case it works so well done. :judge: :judge: :judge:
