I wouldn't know about nice Nikon primes. I've never owned any. I have to make do with my junk. That is still the worst case of chromatic aberration that I have seen. I don't think I've ever seen it show up that wide from an object edge. I guess the light and the angle formed a perfect storm here.Scotty wrote:

It's a purplish hue, but yes. All the canon lenses that were 1.2 usually had bad CA on certain things. I'm sure some of the faster nikon primes have the same thing.
