Bridgework Reflected

I was reminded of this bridge/pic on Saturday evening as we drove over the NEW bridge. This is the old Norridgewock Bridge which no longer exists. I took this pic last fall, the colors sure were alot more vibrant than they've been this year.....
Ohhhh, I was downriver quite a ways so it's at an angle, do you think I should I straighten it? :)

I like the photo... Super colors in those trees. :judge: :judge: :judge:  :woohoo:

I didn't notice the tilt until you mentioned it. While you are correcting the tile try this little trick and see if it works for you. Throw a light and feathered burn brush over the reflection. It seems to boost the contrast and brings out more detail in the reflection. I'm thinking light is 10% but try different settings to see the effect then make it your own IF you like it.

It's certainly a beautiful photo, but personally, I would straighten it (just for my own peace of mind). Other than that, I think that if you're happy with it, then that is all that matters. :)

I would have thought the bridge ran like that, their is no way of telling that you tilted it slightly, its a very personal thing to make changes to an already beautiful photo, I simply love it as it is in its perfection. :judge: :judge: :judge:    :judge: :judge: :judge: :judge: :judge:

Wow I love it. I like the original better because the colors are more vibrant, but given the comment you made I take that was a problem with the upload.

Thank you Lila, I don't know what happened -you're probably right though. It looked alot more vibrant after I edited it, I did that on my other computer at work. Then I uploaded it to photobucket then here....:(

Great shot Shanna, Love the colors... :judge: :judge: :judge: :judge:

Besides the tilt, which you fixed, I might also clone out that one tiny Rock or what ever it is in the lower foreground just to the right of the reflected bridge arch. For some reason, my eye was drawn to that and took me away from admiring the colors and reflection... It could be just me though...

It's just you Joie....;) lol, I'm just teasin you. Seems kinda dumb that I missed that, seeing as how I've just been working on it. I'll take it out but I don't think I'll repost, this pic is over a year old now, I don't want to bore you guys. But thank you for the suggestion, I appreciate it alot! :)
