I like it ....the sky seems a bit more gray than I would think it could and I wish I could see all three bison a bit larger too but those are just nit picky things IMHO

Maybe its just me but the colors seem a bit flat and the green of the grass doesnt look natural, but what a stunning backdrop, you are blessed with a wonderful place to shoot.

Yes, I agree with you. I also think the colors seem a bit flat, but am not sure how to correct this. That's one thing that I am trying to work on. Any suggestions. I actually created a b/w layer and used my multiply blending mode to increase the dynamic of the image. I may have also used an action, but right now, can't remember.

My husband and I visited Yellowstone and the Grand Teton National Parks last year, and it really was one of our most favorite vacations.

I was actually trying for a more dynamic look than a natural one. Not sure if I accomplished that. I probably could have gotten closer, but I liked the overall home on the range thingy! Also, we couldn't get too close to them, for obvious reasons. LOL Thanks so much for the feedback. Any suggestions on how to give an image a more dynamic look without compromising the natural look and color, or is it one or the other, and you have to choose?

I actually did crop quite a bit off before I ended up with this composition. However, I couldn't decide what should actually be the subject and I was trying to keep the mountains at the top horizontal third while keeping the bison in the bottom horizontal third. Not sure if I'm right or not, or if I should just pick one subject. Couldn't decide which was more important. It originally had the bison smack in the middle, which I knew I didn't want. Any suggestions?

I like the tone of it. There are some things you could do to kick it up some, but personally, I'd leave it the way it is. There is enough normal in the world already!
