Cheers Gary I will keep that in mind. :)

The Church of the Good Shepherd is located on the shores of Lake Tekapo in Mackenzie Country on New Zealand's South Island. It was built in 1935 as a place of worship and as a memorial to the pioneers of the Mackenzie Country. When building the church, the stones used had to be untouched and in their natural condition as well as being found within a five mile radius from the site.

P.S. I used light painting during my exposure (church and the foreground).

1, 4, 6, 7, 8 all good.  Good use of the long exposure.  The textures created by the long exposure are smooth in a good way.

Welcome back.

Best shot of yours in this thread.  Excellent image.

OK, now I'm not getting this one. The subject is ostensibly the church, but it's the darkest thing in the image, and with less overt detail. The (beautiful) sky and the grass in front has all the color and brightness that draw my eye. What I think I should be looking at is just lost for me; my eye keeps getting drawn away from it.

If anything, I'd suggest brightening up the building and calming down the brush exposure. That sky may need some moderation, too. I'm just not seeing a good balance here.

As always, for me.
