I recently took this when I got some free time. Its a composite of 3 shots. 

How could this be improved on or worked with to become even better. Or just let me know what you think :)

Everything is piled up to the right (literally!), which gives a very unbalanced composition.  I would have moved the camera a bunch to either side so that the pile of rocks is not lined up with the Sun.

Yea, I see what you mean, the only challenging part of doing that is there is a ferry that will become visible if i move the rocks even just slightly. It was my bad attempt at leading lines :P

I disagree. Empty space has weight, too.  I would like just a bit more detail in the dark areas though.

I can see what you mean about the dark areas. They are piled up that way to be able to block out the busy background behind them. There is a ferry that constantly crosses there and is a distraction to the composition.
