Dramatic London - Critics Please

An eye for an eye, LSD and antidepressants. Everything in balance. Buddhists call it karma and Christians call it the golden rule, Jews call it— I don't know. Rabbi Hillel said something poignant. Universe always settles the score.
Does it?
No, but it should.

It's tilted to left; the red boat on the bottom right and the tower towards the left edge are too distracting for me. In general it lacks a bit of contrast IMHO. What I would have done (again IMO) is to use a very long shutter speed, maybe with the help of a ND filter, to get much more reflections on the Thames (otherwise, that part of your image is very uninteresting. That also gets rid of all floating objects (or most of them). Then I would have probably considered a BW photo. My two cents!

I disagree that it is tilted to the left. The walkway at the base of the building is perfectly level, which is acceptable. I think it would be preferable if one of the horizontal lines further up the building was used as a guide. The one even with the camera would be the ideal choice. I've seen more egregious tilts in landscapse so this does not bother me.

There's so much here that is cool, but for me, it's a bit tight and a bit dark. I, personally, like the boat, but I would want to see the top of Big Ben, space to the left of the other tower, more of the bridge on the right and space below the boat.  I think this would make the composition more successful.

IMO.

I disagree on your disagreeing :)  For me the preferable guide would be the vertical lines of the buildings, and those are tilted to the left. IMHO, of course.

I also like the dark color but as Gary already said, its a bit tight, especially the top of Big Ben. But great shot none the less.

The clouds are great, I like the ominous feel to the shot.  I would try cloning that boat out of the image.

Its kind of difficult to have some change on this picture you know , because everyone I know says " yeah take the boat of the pic" and Others said, "no, no, the boat there, balance's the eye of the pictureand its great in there", so, i don't mind really to have the boat in there, but hey, I respect your Judgement :)

And Thank You for the Critic ;)
