........over a drought stricken land and dam reservoir. They build and then disperse without giving up any of the much need water from above, no wonder we're still in a drought

#2 is a better composition.  But I'd like to see more of the clouds, so I'd try aiming the camera higher.

Thank you Kelly but the initial idea of the image was the trees, it wasn't until I got home to do the editing that I noticed the clouds and yes a little more of those storm clouds would have made for an interesting shot .

I like the 'red planet' like capture you have taken.  Everything works for me, how high does that water get there?   Looking at the ring on the tree's it looks like 1 foot or so higher?
