Nice, but I can't believe you found flowing water in Trabuco canyon....

Why so serious?

Nice way to squeeze out a long exposure during day light.

Great shot Alex, for me I would have pulled back on the exposure just a tad.  Other than that, it's a strong shot.

Canon 5D Mark II, 30D, 40D, 50 1.2L, 16-35 2.8L Mark II, 24-105 4L IS, 24-70 2.8L, 70-200 2.8L IS, 85 1.8, 4 x 580 EX(II)

The colors are excellent here.  Having water in the rivers makes a big difference!  You know we have more rain coming this weekend.  Might be another good opportunity to get some shots.

Are you hiking up to these spots?  I'm curious what you bring with you during these walk abouts.    The shot is nice.  I like the colors and composition.  Have you considered going B&W with this one?  Just something to think about.  Or I'm curious about rather.

I see one thing that would really help this image. I would clone out the bright spots on the far right rock. They are too bright and near the edge. It pulls the eye away from the real center of attention. The image is very good other than that small part. Congrats.

:agree: only after reading your post.  Prior, I didn't notice it.  Now I do!

Lovely shot either way.

Love That Exposure and Colours
Exposures look like soft milk, love that :D

An eye for an eye, LSD and antidepressants. Everything in balance. Buddhists call it karma and Christians call it the golden rule, Jews call it— I don't know. Rabbi Hillel said something poignant. Universe always settles the score.
Does it?
No, but it should.
