Observing this waterfall in solitude requires a great amount if patience. I had to out last at least a half dozen other photographers who seemed to have the same idea as me.

Thanks. I'm curious though if I should have brightened the first tier of the waterfall to match the lower tier. I was working with a lot of artificial light that didn't quite reach all the way to the top.

You might try lightening the upper falls a bit, its digital (I would). In any event I like the treatment, and I was also there twice a few years back and never saw less than twenty five photographers waiting for that special moment....

Why so serious?

Oh or I could take a 3 stop GND and flip it upside down to balance the light out. I'll have to try that!

Nicely done. I was there a couple of years ago and I was the only photographer there. It was very early but I had the place to myself. Later that afternoon, it was elbow to elbow with people.

Thanks. I might rework the lighting and add a grad filter so I can balance everything out though.
