Good afternoon, I made the trip to Chicago 2 days ago for chicagohenge. which is the day that the sunsets inline with the city streets. Sadly it was very cloudy and you couldn't see the sun or much of a sunset. I went ago yesterday and was a perfect sunset but it was a little out of line so the sun was not in between the buildings. Although not the photo I wanted, I was still very happy with the picture let me know what you think.

Thanks
Paul

Your doléances find no echo by me, Paul, because they do not
make much sense… the shot is too good for that.

Had the Sun been in the slot, the DR would have been stretched
to chinese shadows and nothing's more boring than a blue sky…
Could are catching fiery colours not air and their sunset colours
here are in the same register than the streetlamp's… very cooool!

Except for the halo, this a very good effort.

Light is free… capturing it is not!

I'm really loving those colors in the sky and the rest of the lights.  Nice job.

Those colors though. DR can be worked out here. Not so bad at all.

So this is the famous Chicago Henge? Well done for the shot. I like the symmetry in the shot.
