Nothing wrong with being a teacher, I'm just surprised this photo would come from a teacher.

Thanks for the offer, Phil! :P

This pano was made with shots by students who tried this first
exercise on their own machines and this is the better rendition
of the group. Mine is already delivered to the client — including
the RAWs as it is normal in such assignments.

I investigated Pixtra to discovered that their latest version from
2012 is for windows only. A 2018 PTGui's actual version, for both
Mac and windows, is quite something.

Thanks for clearing that up, cause the photo posted is not up to par on so many levels i would barely know where to start. And if coming from a teacher.......Well!

There is more to learn from my students. They will tell
me how much of a teacher I may be… for one thing. So
far, this is their third year with me and we're still friends.

Have a good one… Stefan. :)

So the image isn't yours? That's kind of strange and weird for that fact to just now come forth. Not sure about anyone else, but that bothers me a bit.

Right, I should probably have mentioned that with it.
That it bothers you — and others — a bit, sorry.

I smell **** ****.....Why don't you post your image then? Lets see what you got? It's only fair, reading your critique day after day on other peoples pictures.

If you post a good Image i'll be the first to praise you.

What do you smell exactly. Stefan?

It's been a long time since I shot panos for fun or robot
configuration training. When the machine is taken out
on location, it is for work and the originals are included
in the delivery folder as stipulated in the contract.

In this case here, I was very happy with the back lit scene
where the snow was bouncing it back on the castle — and
that alone motivated the post.

"Let's see what you got!" you say? That sounds like a chal-
lenge and I do not think I am here, nor do I need, to prove
anything on this tribune. Just contributing.

You have absolutely nothing to prove. However, to explain myself why I posted this. I see you critique photos, sometimes overly critical and harsh, like you are trying to one-up them with your "knowledge", at the same time posting "snaps" of birds, less than impressive interiors and downright horrible panos.......I for one am not impressed by your "knowledge" or photos.....But what do I know, I'm not a "teacher" of photography. I'm just a beginner, and I don't pretend to be anything more.

PEACE!

— "overly critical and harsh"

I am known to be direct, straight and honest but always on the
easy side of life… nobody needs any type of aggravation. This,
though natural in French, may be very clumsy in English and
google translate is my best tool… or so I thought.

"I for one am not impressed"

Fine with me… /.
