G'day NS

Two hours between #1 and #3 ... lighting is 'delightfully soft' and gentle ~ it shows that the extended twilight of Europe can be most useful for you/ we photographers

Hi Phil., :)

Well said, body! The equator — with it on/off effect on
day/night changes — is killing it. I remember the times
woking in northern Canada in Summer and NA Winters
in Terra del Fuego… loooong time to play! :P

Thanks for your reply! :P

I was not documenting the stump really,
but the light that was falling on it!

Interesting light refraction on the stump.

Cheers Monica!

I know you meant reflection as refraction
is something completely different. :)

Correct, Sarit, that's all it is: a play of the light! :P

I'm struck by the lighting, not that much difference from one to another. The old stump is interesting in itself, it appears to be struggling back to life.

It is but it would be doing better if geese left it alone
for a while… they're always nipping the young growth.

Revisiting this thread I see the images have gone … can anyone shed light on why this happens?
One of mine went missing also.
